Last evening, members of the North Rockland Chamber of Commerce had the honor of attending a truly meaningful event hosted by the Stony Point Democratic Committee, where our organization was recognized with the Sean V. Harte “Making a Difference” Award.

This award was recently renamed in memory of Sean V. Harte, a man remembered for his deep commitment to community, service, and integrity. Each year, the award recognizes individuals or organizations who actively work to strengthen their community—values that Sean Harte held close throughout his life.
We are deeply grateful to be chosen as this year’s recipient. The North Rockland Chamber of Commerce is made up of dedicated local business owners, volunteers, and community advocates who care deeply about the people and businesses of our region. To be recognized for that work is both humbling and inspiring.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Harte family for sharing Sean’s legacy with the community in such a meaningful way, and to the Stony Point Democratic Committee for their support and recognition.
This honor belongs not only to the Chamber, but to every local business, volunteer, and resident who works every day to make North Rockland a stronger, more connected community.
We remain committed to continuing this work and to supporting the businesses and neighbors who make our community
