Centro de Amigos Social Adult Day Center is a 5-hour program designed to help maintain and improve person’s physical and mental health in a comfortable culturally centered and community-based setting.

Here our members interact with friends and trained staff for a few hours a day filled with activities that encourage mental and physical growth in a familiar safe environment.

We are a not for profit organization with the goal of developing a rec center for those who are neurologically diverse. The center will be based around all things therapeutic in the real world such as music dance sports cooking exercise gardening animals art gaming socialization reading quiet time and mentoring. We aim to build a Village for those who need more than traditional therapy particularly young people between ages 16 and 30. Within our Village there will be a host of helpful people and an office with case managers to provide assistance and referrals for housing benefits community resources traditional treatment careers and services. Our mission is to create an accepting non judgmental stigma free atmosphere and host events in house classes and usage of our facility for the purpose of supporting independence and the multitude of interests that are intertwined with peoples passions so that they can explore their strengths and talents build their life skills and create a support network......because it takes a Village. During the construction of this goal we will be hosting fundraisers and also giving donations to mental health organizations who are dedicating their time toward assisting those who are neurologically diverse.
