My name is Melissa Monroe, and I am the founder of Madre Inclusive Care by MBM, LLC, a mobile veterinary nursing practice serving pets and the people who care for them throughout the Hudson Valley. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with more than 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine, my passion is improving the lives of pets through compassionate, evidence-based veterinary nursing while empowering pet owners with the knowledge and confidence to care for their animals at home.
Beyond veterinary nursing, I am deeply committed to building a more inclusive community. Through educational programs, partnerships with local organizations, and advocacy, I work to create opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn about companion animal care and explore pathways into the veterinary profession.
