The North Rockland Chamber of Commerce held its first annual Harvest Dinner and Dance at the Hudson Water Club on Thursday, October 11, 2018. It was wildly successful, with over 200 guests!
- Community Leader of the Year: Village of Haverstraw Mayor Michael Kohut
- Community Youth Leader of the Year: North Rockland High School Principal Michael Gill
- Citizen of the Year: Retired North Rockland schools employee and longtime Helen Hayes Hospital volunteer Mary Minerick
- Student of the Year: Academic standout and national cross-country record holder Katelyn Touhy
- Business of the Year: A&N Rappaport Lock & Alarm
Town of Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips, and Town of Stony Point Supervisor Jim Monaghan served as co-emcees for the evening.
We also announced a new website we have been developing to attract tourism to North Rockland: www.visitnorthrockland.com.
